Google goes Dark for Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an energy conservation project aimed at promoting the myth of man made global warming. Google, the socialist friendly search engine, has decided to honor this project by changing the background color of their main page to black (Google, this saves no energy). Semiologic Users Don't Upgrade to Wordpress 2.5

Wordpress 2.5 will not be compatible with Semi Pro 5.0.2. Denis is busy at work with the 5.1 beta release, so wait until the beta testing is complete to run the auto upgrade program. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but Denis has quite a few pleasant surprises in store for the next Semiologic release. I'm looking to put together some video's on Semiologic, let me know if you have any specific requests.

Update: The new beta will be labeled Semiologic 5.5.

How to add Onlywire to Semiologic Bookmark Me plugin

Semiologic Bookmark Me is a very popular blog add on that will allow your visitors to add your articles to the top social bookmarking sites.  There was a question in the Semiologic private members forum asking if it was possible to add Onlywire to the plugin, since the plugin is freely downloadable and not exclusive to the Semiologic Pro Package, I thought I would share my reply with everyone. Another Serp Update

Looks like Google has just gone through another update.  My blog's page rank and serp position is unchanged, which really does not suprise me, I havent done too much work on it this quarter.

But the blog directory I own has done pretty well.  Blogoozle.com has been online for a little more than a year and has consistantly been on page 2-3 for the term blog directory.   But 'G' has been nice this update and moved it up to page one.  Not sure how it happened, but I'm not going to complain.
