SEO Book by Aaron Wall well worth every penny
The last few months have been pretty turbulent I'm sure for all webmasters. Everyone has seen some major changes in the serps plus Big G is always fine tuning their algorithm.
Presently I'm scouring nichebot and wordtracker in the quest of the almighty niche I believe I have found a few, but a lot of keyword research still needs to be done.
I always thought I new enough about SEO and SERP ranking's to get by, but the last two updates have proven me wrong. If I plan to compete with the big boys and become a successful marketer I realized the need to learn a lot more, and learn it fast.
So last night I purchased Aaron Wall's ebook on search engine optimization. I was always a little hesitant to buy it, lets face it $79 is a nice chunk of change. But within five minutes of downloading the ebook, I realized that it was the best $79 I have ever spent. Quickly I found an explanation for one of the big problems I have been having with this blog. I don't want to reveal what it is out of respect for Aaron but if you already have the ebook it's on page 122.
I have spent months and countless hours at every big webmaster forum trying to figure out why this blog was getting indexed the way it was, no one ever seemed to know. I was starting to believe there was a chink in the blog software that this blog use's, and I have been contemplating zapping the db and starting over.
But thanks to Aaron's SEO Book I don't have to, and it was a very simple fix.
Now I feel like quite a schmuck. If I would have just purchased Aaron's ebook back in August like I wanted to a lot of my problems would have been avoided.
So I guess lesson #1 is don't be cheap. If you want to play with the big guru's you might as well learn from one.

I personally use Niche Inspector. You might find my recent post interesting.
David's last blog post..#8 On Google But No Money
I purchased Aaron's book a long while ago and noticed that it haven't been updated for a while. SEO laws and techniques are rapidly evolving and although timeless truth about great contents remain constant it would be nice to have an update versions of a regular basis.
