EntreCard - Drive traffic to your Blog
EntreCard is a new social network for bloggers. The goals of EntreCard are simple enough, allow bloggers to network with one another and exchange business cards for advertising credits.
Upon joining, you are given a widget to place on your blog that allows other bloggers to drop their card. Every time a card is dropped, or you drop your business card, you earn advertising credits that can be used to place your ad on as many blogs as you choose.
In the few days that I have been a member of EntreCard the traffic I have received has been quite impressive The problem I see is that it's not targeted traffic and the bounce rate is thru the roof, everyone stops by and drops a card and leaves.
EntreCard does seem to be a much alternative better than anything else out there, so I will stick with them a little longer before making a final judgment.

Not everyone just drops a card, but it is getting bad fast. I saw a card rotater today–just open a window and a slideshow begins. It reminds me of the do follow movement which was a really good idea that marketers took to the max. I get so much spam from Courtney Tuttle, I would like to … LOL
I have seen an increase in traffic, actually gotten about 6 readers signed up for my blog. This is such a niche specific though, I think the flooding is alot of the tech sites, unfortunately. I have had some good success, the business blog is in marketing, and those are not sticking around other than to drop!
So far entrecard seems ok. I'm not sure how much longer I will participate in the program. I would much rather have targeted traffic compared to the hits entrecard sends.
