When I upgraded my blog to WordPress 2.3.3 and Semiologic version 5.0.2 my blog broke. My categories were no longer working, so I put the blog in maintenance mode until the issue was able to get resolved. Everything is good to go now, and I'm looking forward to posting again.

Akismet, the powerful spam fighting wordpress plugin has been updated, version 2.1.4 and it has just been released. Don't let the spammers get the upper hand make sure that you download and install the latest version of Akismet right away.

EntreCard is a new social network for bloggers. The goals of EntreCard are simple enough, allow bloggers to network with one another and exchange business cards for advertising credits.
Upon joining, you are given a widget to place on your blog that allows other bloggers to drop their card. Every time a card is dropped, or you drop your business card, you earn advertising credits that can be used to place your ad on as many blogs as you choose.
In the few days that I have been a member of EntreCard the traffic I have received has been quite impressive The problem I see is that it's not targeted traffic and the bounce rate is thru the roof, everyone stops by and drops a card and leaves.
EntreCard does seem to be a much alternative better than anything else out there, so I will stick with them a little longer before making a final judgment.
